Compaq offers £160 120Mb floppy upgrade
The 120Mb floppy bandwagon is gaining momentum as Compaq said this week it now has LS-120 drives available for new and legacy desktops. The drives were previously only available on some Deskpro 4000 models.
The 120Mb floppy bandwagon is gaining momentum as Compaq said this week it now has LS-120 drives available for new and legacy desktops. The drives were previously only available on some Deskpro 4000 models.
The LS-120 drive costs about £160 + VAT on the street.
In a prepared announcement, Compaq said the option was being offered as a result of user demand.
