Dell embraces server clustering
Dell has followed its recent push into the server market by saying it will endorse Tandem clustering technology.
The direct seller's support for Tandem's ServerNet clustering standard will increase the scalability and power of its networks, said the firm. It also said its PowerEdge XL quad-processor server had been certified by SAP AG to run the Windows NT version of SAP R/3.
