Fossil 'S+tark Palindrome Too' watch keeps geekitude ambiguous

Every once in awhile, a gadget lands in The Toybox slush pile that isn't really consumer electronics per se, but appeals an awful lot to us geeky folks who buy them.

The Fossil S+tark Palindrome Too watch is that gadget. As you might have inferred from the name, designer Philippe Starck and watchmaker Fossil collaborated on the watch, which tells the time using two dials, each with a single hand: one (left) dial for the hours, one (right) for the minutes.

It's not Starck's first foray into electronics, either: earlier this year, he paired with LaCie for a Chicago Millennium Park Bean-esque external hard drive.

It comes in two colors: black with silver trim and orange with gray trim.

It sells for $150.
