IBM will offer Pilot clone in UK
IBM UK plans to release a clone of the US Robotics (USR) Pilot handheld at some point in the "next few months", the firm said today.
The WorkPad unit is black compared to USR's charcoal, but, otherwise, it takes a keen eye to spot even cosmetic differences between the two. However, IBM clearly feels it can bring its channel and vertical market strength to sell plenty of the devices.
