Indian outsourcing not impacting call centers in UK
A survey of 107 call center companies in the UK conducted by Incomes Data Services (IDS) suggests that they expected their workforce to increase in the coming year, although a staff turnover of 25% remained a huge problem. The number of firms hiring staff in the past year was 58%, compared with 51% last year with those in financial services, telecoms, utilities and the public sector most likely to expand.
