All eyes in the digital camcorder world are JVC's newest installment to their Everio line: the Everio GZ-HD620, said to the world's lightest and smallest HDD camcorder. First, the measurements. The 1080p Everio cam weighs in at just 0.59 pounds, and it's scaled at 4.5 inches long by 2.5 inches tall.

Somehow, there's a 120 GB hard drive in there. But if that's space isn't enough, you can record to a SDHC or a microSDHC card. The internal storage will last you for 11 hours of footage at full resolution at the maximum bit rate of 24 Mbps. However, the battery will only allow you 45 minutes of non-stop shooting.

All of that will be shot through a 30x optical zoom lens, with the use of a 1920 x 1080 backside illuminated CMOS sensor.

The GZ-HD620 is set to ship tomorrow in to buyers in Japan at a price equivalent to $1,235. Not sure when it will drop in the United States yet.
