Labour votes for Opus PCs

UK PC maker Opus Technology had more reason than most to celebrate Labour's general election victory: it supplies the bulk of Tony Blair's party's PC network.

The Redhill, Surrey firm yesterday said it had its preferred supplier relationship renewed, covering more than 250 PCs for campaigning and administrative tasks at Labour HQ. The firm also supplies MPs and party reps. The deal was originally agreed in 1989.
