MS betas Office for developers

The Developer Edition includes the full application suite plus a host of customisation tools thast let developers create Microsoft-like applications. Microsoft claimed that more than one million people are already using Office as the basis for producing custom applications. The complementary Mastering Office 97 Development program includes code samples and over 40 hours of interactive training sessions.

The two products go into beta testing in November and will be available January 1997.
