Called LiveUpdate, the tool takes users straight to Symantec's Web site where the data is held. Also new are Striker, a revamped scanner that can spot polymorphic - mutating - viruses, and Repair Wizard, a hand-holding guide to getting rid of viruses.
Norton AntiVirus 2.0 will list for £79 + VAT with upgrades at £29.
