More attractive for business users?

Sun has upgraded its grid computing software in a bid to make the technology more attractive to businesses. Grid Engine Enterprise Edition version 5.3 lets administrators establish rules that control how computing jobs run, effectively allowing them to limit a job to make sure it doesn't take up too many resources. Grid computing allows users to pool computer resources to perform large calculations. Sun claims that more than 5,000 grids using its Grid Engine software have been installed, 40 per cent of them in the past seven months.
