Police have seized computer equipment from a school in Lancashire after a teacher allegedly sent emails of a sexual nature to one of her pupils. The teacher, who is has not been named, is accused of sending lewd emails to a pupil at Gawthorpe High School in Padiham. A statement from the Lancashire police department said: "We can confirm that an allegation of a sexual nature relating to inappropriate emails has been made about a member of staff. "The member of staff has not been arrested but has been suspended from the school pending the outcome of the police investigation."
