The show is in its fifth year and expects over 6,000 visitors for the 225 exhibitors which include BT, Mercury, Siemens, Telia, and Dialogic. Companies will be showing products under areas including call centres, speech recognition, voice processing cards, switches and the Internet.

Internet applications featured strongly this year and major product launches included Dialogic's Basic Rate ISDN PC fax card, VocalTec's Windows NT-based Internet Phone Telephony Gateway and Digital's object framework for integrating telephony and computer environments.

The show will run from today until Thursday.
