Martin Bishop heads up Telstra Programmable Networks based in Singapore. He is responsible for the global cloud managed services and Programmable strategy, which brings together Software Defined Networking with Network Function Virtualisati…on to transform the customer experience.
Martin has had a number of senior roles across Telstra since joining the company in 2008, most recently as the Head of Network Applications and Services portfolio for Telstra globally. Prior to this he was Head of Cloud in international and also held the role of Head of product Portfolio EMEA for a period of two years.
Before joining Telstra, Martin worked for BT Global Services for ten years, including as Head of BT's global MPLS portfolio. Martin holds a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Science from University College London (UK) and a Master's Degree in Engineering, Design and Management from Cardiff University (UK).
