Their departures come after the appointment of new CEO Vyomesh Joshi in April.

The operating and marketing chiefs for printing products and services company 3D Systems have quit, according to a disclosure in a form 8-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The resignations of chief operating officer Mark Wright and chief marketing officer Cathy Lewis are effective June 10 and June 17, respectively. Their departures come amidst a long-running reorg period for the company. 3D Systems appointed new CEO Vyomesh Joshi in April, following the resignation of previous CEO, Avi Reichental in October 2015.

Like other players in the 3D printer sector, 3D systems has struggled with slower capital spending and decreased manufacturing, not mention printing giant HP's entry into the market.

Just last week Stratasys announced that its CEO David Reis has also resigned.
