The British science journal, Nature, asks if there's political will to do anything about carbon-loading the atmosphere. Their current editorial says there's time to do something...right now. But is there any political leadership to make anything happen? [poll id="125"] DON'T BREATHE THE AIR Apart from climate issues, here in America we're now learning that years of anti-pollution regs and presumed efforts by industry to stop killing workers and customers, most of us still breathe dangerous air. Sixty percent of Americans breathe health-endangering air says the American Lung Association. Oh goody, add to that the crud blowing across the Pacific from our trade partner, China, and you gotta wonder how big the future business will be for air filtering tech. One note on timing, the bad air may kill most of us long before we or our kids have to face the worst effects of global warming. Happy Thursday.
