A matter of solar scale(s)

I go on and on sometimes about the importance of measurement and monitoring AND YET the one thing I don't have in my own house is a scale. I'm sort of perpetually the same weight, it just sort of moves around to different places depending on whether I'm exercising.

I go on and on sometimes about the importance of measurement and monitoring AND YET the one thing I don't have in my own house is a scale. I'm sort of perpetually the same weight, it just sort of moves around to different places depending on whether I'm exercising.

Instead of peeking into my friends' medicine cabinets, my guilty secret when I visit their restroom is that I love testing scales. I get really bummed when the batteries are dead. (Actually, they've been dead at my in-laws house for the past two years! What does that mean) So, it was with a certain delight that I received an e-mail earlier today from Tanita about a scale that operates on solar power.

Here it is, folks, the HS-301 Solar Scale, priced at only $38.99. You can get your very own at TheCompetitiveEdge.com.

I don't have any windows in my own bathroom, but I'm in luck: the scale works with sunlight or regular household light.
