The 105-key Alps GlidePoint keyboard, which is currently only available in the US, sports a central rectangular touchpad, Windows 95 keys, an 'Erase-Eaze' backspace key on the left of the spacebar, a large return key and contoured wrist-wrest. The device comes with installation software.
"We have made no commitment to produce a UK model," said a spokeswoman for Alps. However, she acknowledged the potential UK demand for such a keyboard.
