Amazon acquires specialty toy retailer

Amazon.com Inc. said Tuesday it acquired an online and catalog retailer of specialty toys, Back to Basics Toys, adding to the growing list of product categories offered by the onetime books-only online retailer. Terms for the acquisition of the Herndon, Va.-based retailer were not disclosed. The acquisition adds to specialties already available at Amazon.com's Toys & Video Games Store. -- Reuters
