Amazon offering to replace problematic Kindle covers

Beware of buying the Amazon-branded Kindle case at the moment. The accessory has been discovered to be very problematic, causing Amazon to start offering replacements and even refunds.

If you take a look at the product page, you'll notice many one-star reviews for the Kindle Leather Cover. Most of them point towards a freezing problem on the Kindle.

Supposedly the problem stems from metal hooks on the cases without a built-in light source. Thus, Amazon is trying to offer the best customer service possible with replacements and refunds for defective covers. If this applies to you, email kindle-response@amazon.com.
