As iBooks begin landing at Sears, CompUSA and other retailers, Apple's wireless networking option is almost ready for lift off. An Apple employee said the company began shipping the AirPort Base Station last week and it should start arriving in stores this week or next. The Apple employee spoke to customers Saturday at the San Francisco location of ComputerWare -- a chain of 10 Mac-only computer stores in Northern California -- during the official launch of Mac OS 9.
