AT&T handing out free Zune trials with purchase of Windows Phone 7 devices

AT&T and Microsoft are throwing in a new (temporary) freebie with the purchase of a Windows Phone 7 handheld: a month of Zune access.

That means unlimited music service for 30 days plus 10 free song downloads. This goes along with a free Xbox Live game and a month free of U-verse Mobile.

Naturally, there are a few restrictions. First, all of this is only available to customers who buy a WP7-enabled smartphone from AT&T between October 25, 2010, and December 31, 2010. Second, buyers need to redeem these offers by New Year's Eve at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

For reference, the HTC Surround and Samsung Focus are both headed to AT&T and will launch on November 8.
