It already picked up the 2010 CES Innovations Award back in November, Vestalife's Firefly speaker and dock for the iPod and iPhone made an appearance in Las Vegas this past weekend, and there's a lot to look for in this shiny sound system.

Vestalife has a knack for making insects look cool (and this is from someone who is afraid of every kind of bug), between their LadyBug II and Firefly systems.

Available in sleek metallic red, black or silver, the Firefly's design allows for the speakers, or "wings," to come down for a more interesting look. There's also a rear subwoofer for pumping up the bass, a digital amplifier and touch-sensitive controls. It's not hard to see why it got an award for innovation, at least when it comes to design.

Compatible with the iPod, iPod Touch, or iPhone (all three editions), the Firefly runs on either AC power or a four-pack of AA batteries. Interested iPod/iPhone owners can pick up a system for $129.99 from either the Apple Store or Vestalife's online shop.
