BlackBerry now has eight million users on $3 billion in revenue

BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion has posted fourth quarter fiscal year 2007 revenue of $930.4 million, an increase of 65.7 percent from $561.2 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2006.
These results are preliminary, pending results of ongoing investigations related to options grants practices.
The company says that net income increased to $187.9 million, or $1.01 per share, nearly $12 million more than the $176.0 million, or $0.95 per share, in fiscal 2006.
Total revenue for the year was $3 billion, compared to $2 billion fiscal 2006. Total accounts are now pegged at 8 million.
