Access to Bank of America's online banking and mobile banking sites appear to be down this afternoon, a widespread problem that appears to have started before 2 p.m. PT - based on tweets reporting the problem.
A couple of us at ZDNet have also been able to confirm problems getting into Web-based site, as well as the mobile apps. Other parts of the BofA site - home loans, IRAs and so on - don't appear to be affected.
A tweet on the BofA Help Twitter page indicates that the bank is aware of the outage and is working to restore access.
