SolFocus of Mountain View says they will be helping build several solar collector installations in Greece. Partnering with an investment firm and an engineering firm, SolFocus says the original agreement for solar collection work in Greece has been increased six-fold to 10 MW.
SolFocus's tecnology launched in November, 2008. It offers high conversion efficiencies that are typically 30-50 percent above traditional photovoltaic (PV) panels and provides the highest energy generation potential per acre of land.
