Businesses told to build 'tech watch lists'

Research firm Forrester has recommended that companies create their own "technology watch lists" so they know when cutting-edge technology is available for widespread adoption. According to Forrester, CIOs should not only use this list to educate their business peers and influence their strategy, but also to stay ahead of executives tempted to bring in news articles or case studies noting good results for early adopters of the technologies.
