CA delivers security software for e-business

HONG KONG - Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA), an e-business solutions provider, today announced eTrust Internet Defense, which CA claims to be the first integrated solution to protect mission-critical e-business from potentially destructive cyber attacks and security breaches.

eTrust Internet Defense delivers a set of tools that detect, analyze, warn, prevent and cure any attack - including malicious mobile code, worms, viruses or intruders and hackers attempting to destroy, deface or bring down e-business.

A recent study by PricewaterhouseCoopers estimates the damage of these attacks at nearly US$1.5 trillion this year alone.
