Canon cuts prices sharply
Canon has cut prices sharply and added free software to stimulate sales of its Bubble Jet printer line.

The entry-level BJ-30 is cut from £169 to £139, while the BJC-210 is slashed from £229 to a choice of a £169 Business package that adds Avery's LabelPro label printing software and a £179 Leisure package that comes with a Dorling Kindersley encyclopaedia CD-ROM and colour cartridge.
The BJC-70 colour printer is reduced from £259 to £199, and the BJC-4100 and BJC-610 are each trimmed by £50 to £249 and £399 respectively.
