Canon offering workshops to new, current EOS users

If you're looking for a summer hobby, getting to know your camera better is definitely worth your time. While many local colleges and art schools often offer photography classes for all skill levels, Canon is getting in on the action nationwide this summer with a series of workshops for both current and prospective EOS users.

The programs are divided up into two fields: essentials and extras. EOS Essentials is a two-day weekend program which will include optional hands-on workshops, including one conducted by a "Canon Explorer of Light" professional photographer. The EOS Extras program also features a Canon Explorer of Light, and participants will go on location in order to learn about photographic techniques and try Canon’s latest EOS equipment.

Classes begin in New York on May 30, and continue throughout the summer in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, Atlanta and Dallas. Anyone interested in signing up or finding out what a Canon Explorer of Light is can go to Canon's Live Learning website.
