China aims to become solar tech production giant

The country is spending upwards of $740 million to create a "Solar Valley," which has already attracted 100 companies.

The country is spending upwards of $740 million to create a "Solar Valley," which has already attracted 100 companies. In 2009 alone, China invested $34 billion in solar panels, wind turbines and other renewable energy technologies.
