The Japanese giant will release the Printiva 1700, an addition to its line of Micro Dry solid ink printers. The unit outputs metallic gold, silver, cyan and magenta hues at 600 x 600dpi or 1,200 x 600dpi in monochrome. A 600 x 600dpi scanner is built in. Corel's Print House graphics and MGI's Photosuite image editing software will be bundled.

Citizen will also show two new dot-matrix printers, the Prodot 450L and 810X.

Citizen can be contacted by telephone on 01753-584111.
