Claris chases Home Page 1.0 with 2.0 beta
Claris has produced a double-quick beta of version 2.0 of its Home Page Web authoring package for Windows 95, Windows NT and Macintosh users, just a couple of months after shipping version 1.0.
Home Page 2.0 (£89 + VAT list) adds several features to version 1.0 including QuickTime and ShockWave plug-ins, spell-checking, more font support and more control over Web page frames and tables.
Current users can download the new version free, and a time-limited beta of version 2.0 is available from Claris's Web site. Claris said a full version of 2.0 will be available in the new year.
