Corsair debuts Extreme Series X32, X64, X128 SSDs

Corsair has revealed its latest line of 2.5-inch solid-state drives, the "Extreme" series, which have been tested to reach read rates of up to 240MBps and write rates of 170MBpsHotHardware reports that the new Extreme lineup consists of three drives: the X32, X64 and X128 (32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacity, respectively), which use Samsung MLC NAND flash memory and an Indilinx Barefoot controller.

HotHardware reports that the new Extreme lineup consists of three drives: the X32, X64 and X128 (32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacity, respectively), which use Samsung MLC NAND flash memory and an Indilinx Barefoot controller.

Corsair says the drives are upgradable by future firmware updates as well.
