Google has revealed further details of its augmented reality glasses, which pull in information about the wearer's world and sync with Google services.
The Project Glass technology will be designed to let wearers see calendar, maps, search and most features of the Google+ social network while carrying out day-to-day activities, Google has confirmed. On Wednesday it posted a technology visualisation to YouTube, showing how the glasses will work from a first-person perspective.

Google[x] is the company's skunkworks research division. Its research endeavours, which also include self-driving cars, are understood to be shaped by Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
The first details of the technology emerged in February, when The New York Times revealed that the glasses will incorporate GPS, a variety of sensors and either a 3G or 4G data connection, and should be on sale by the end of the year.
