Dead end for Web Street

ASP Web Street has announced its closure just a week after Hostlogic shut shop leaving customers in the lurch.

Web Street ceased trading on 14 February. Customer websites will continue to operate but all customer service and technical support has been cancelled. According to Laurence Baehr, partner at Baehr Lubbock Fine, receivers for Web Street, liquidation is scheduled for the end of March. He said he is confident that a buyer will be found before this time and that six parties have expressed an interest in the company since the sale was announced yesterday.
