Dell introduces Vostro 230 Slim Tower, Mini Tower desktops; starts at $299

Dell's Vostro 230 Slim and Mini Tower desktop computers are now available to make their way home to you for some low prices and with a lot of choices.

Dell is letting potential buyers to be able to configure the systems in many different ways, but here's a few of the specs one could pick up in a new Vostro 230 desktop tower:

• Windows 7 OS
• Up to Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3.0GHz processor
• Up to 4GB of RAM
• 16x optical drive (either DVD-ROM or DVD+/-RW)
• Max of 2TB of storage (space for two 1TB drives)
• Up to NVIDIA GeForce G310 512MB graphics card
