Diamond deals cards, drivers

Diamond Multimedia today released two driver updates and two new models in its Stealth 3D 2000 series of video playback cards.

The drivers, available from Diamond's Web site, give faster 2D performance under Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51, the company claims. They also support Microsoft's Direct3D API and include Diamond's InControl Tools 95 desktop utility.

The two new models are the Stealth 2000 with 2Mb RAM (£135 + VAT), upgradable to 4Mb, and a fixed 4Mb version (£159 + VAT) supporting True Colour at 1024 x 768.
