The iRio? Taking a page from Apple's book, multimedia hardware maker Diamond Multimedia Systems announced a special-edition of its Rio digital music player that has twice the memory and comes in a translucent teal case. According to Diamond, at 64MB, the new Rio enables PC users to store up to two hours of digital quality music or 12 hours of voice-based audio downloaded from the Internet or converted from personal CDs. The new Rio will be available for purchase exclusively through the Diamond's online store for $249.95 (£150).
