DirecTV might have let some internal developments slip in a recent survey about watching NFL Sunday Ticket.

Thanks to an anonymous tipster to Engadget, the survey points towards a shift in broadcasting NFL Sunday Ticket coverage via Internet-connected devices. Specifically, that includes Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and the triumvirate of set-top boxes: Apple TV, Boxee and Roku.

This all seems reasonable considering how much of a push there is lately to push multimedia content streaming over the Internet to consoles and set-top boxes. (Just look at Netflix, Hulu and the NHL Game Center Live HD channel on Roku.)

There's no timeline as to when DirecTV subscribers would actually get to take advantage of these additional streaming sources, and in all likelihood won't be until next season. But if you're a DirecTV user, is this something you'd like to see?
