ePresence Extends Its Vertical Presence

ePresence Inc. said today it has acquired SND Inc., a privately held integrator specializing in customer relationship management, sales force automation, and other custom applications for the pharmaceutical industry. - Mark Mehler, Sm@rt Reseller
17 May 2000 - The US$30.5 million acquisition price includes 221,713 shares of ePresence common stock, US$17.5 million in cash, and a one-year earn-out of US$10 million contingent on performance.
SND, based in Clark, N.J., reported revenues of US$15.1 million for the 12 months ended March 31.
Formerly known as Banyan Worldwide, ePresence focuses on e-services that span the customer-partner-employee value chain. The company also maintains a venture arm that invests in complementary Web-service start-ups.
