Et-China.com, an e-commerce travel Web site, is the first and only dotcom company in China to be partnered with a major air carrier and two of China's largest banks.

SYDNEY, 30 May 2000 - Et-China.com is jointly owned and operated by Et-China.com Investments Pty Limited, an Australia e-commerce investment company and China Southern Airlines.

"Since our launch last January, our sales continue to increase each month. Et-China.com is truly operational, functional and open for business," said Matthew Ng, chief executive officer, Et-China.com.

Ng pointed to its joint partner relationship with China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in The People's Republic of China, as well as its solid financial and participating business relationships with China Construction Bank, The Bank of China and China Merchants Bank.

"With our China Southern Airlines partnership, we have forged a direct and exclusive link into the airline's computer reservation system and departure control systems. Et-China.com enjoys a very close working relationship with China's largest airline on all fronts including IT, marketing and business development," said Ng.

Ng added that Et-China.com is the "only Web site in the world that can provide flight arrival and departure information in real time from Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou."

Et-China.com provides customers with online domestic (China) and international air travel booking and ticketing, travel and hotel reservations.

It offers real time individual seat selection and meal selection on all China Southern Airlines' flights as well as luggage and cargo information.
