Evernote adds offline notes

One of the biggest drawbacks to the Evernote iPhone client (iTunes link) was that it lacked offline notes and required an Internet connection to edit notes. Well no more.

Evernote solved this problem with Favorites – offline notes for iPhone and iPod Touch. It works like this: when viewing a note on the iPhone, tapping the little gray star in left corner of the note title turns the note into a Favorite, and makes it accessible even when there is no network available.

It comes with a built-in sliding lens that makes close-up/macro photos much sharper, dramatically improving Evernote image recognition.
