Facebook for BlackBerry has just been updated with a brand new feature, Places, which was only previously available to iPhone users.
With Places, you can attach your GPS or A/GPS (network assisted for power saving) location to a map, type what you are doing there and allow others to see where you are, what you are doing and who you are with.
For some it might be a privacy nightmare waiting to happen, but for others it is a massive step towards a full social experience. Foursquare users in countries and regions where it is not so well developed will also be pleased to engage in geo-tagging too.
