Gates: Windows 98 will have a 2nd edition
During this morning's launch of Internet Explorer 5 in the US, Microsoft Corp. CEO Bill Gates unveiled plans for a Windows 98 Second Edition, which he said will closely integrate IE 5 into the operating system.

The product will ship later this year, both as a retail package and pre-installed in computers. Gates also said the latest version of IE is available for Unix and Windows simultaneously for the first time. More details to follow.
