Getting settled in my new line of work

After working 6 years in IT and most recently as an IT consultant, I've left that field for TechRepublic which is a division of CNET and a sister site of ZDNet.  I will be the new Technical Director of TechRepublic where I will split my time writing educational and editorial pieces as well as help enhance the website for TechRepublic's readers.

I will continue to blog here at ZDNet which has been my home on the Internet for nearly two years.  I've grown to know many of you in our forums and I truly enjoy conversing with my readers, even the ones I don't always agree with.  It's been a hectic week moving to my new office in San Francisco and getting adjusted to the city, but I will resume my blogs on ZDNet tomorrow.
