GNOME, one of two major Linux user interface groups (the other is KDE) is trying a new marketing tack.
The GNOME Marketing Team has launched a Support GNOME Cause.
Executive Director Stormy Peters is looking for both one-time donations and continuing donations of as little as $10/month to support development of the project.
The application was created by Project Agape and I have Roberto Galoppini to thank for getting word of this to me quickly.
