Go-go California becomes by-by California?
I still think of myself as a Californian in self-imposed exile. So I'm taking this kinda personal.
A new report projects lotsa bad times ahead for the "Golden" State. The expected effects of global warming will cross all sectors of the economy and the ecosystems from the Pacific to the Sierra crest.
Things that will NOT be fun and enlightening: RISING SEA LEVELS, MORE SEVERE WILDFIRES, MORE ELECTRICITY DEMAND, LESS WATER FOR HOMES AND WATER-HUNGRY AGRICULTURE [they still grow rice in arid climate!], LESS GRASS FOR RANCH CATTLE.
