Google's determined efforts to make money in offline advertising continue apace: Television advertising is today's latest Google test annnouncement, as I report in "Google TV ads debuts."

Google has been trying for years to make money offline; radio advertising, magazine advertising, newspaper advertising.

BUT, have you heard a Google placed radio ad lately? Have you seen a Google placed magazine or newspaper ad lately? UNLIKELY.

Google remains in its $150 billion market cap, revenues fueled 99% by search advertising "rut," despite its many announced diversification betas, tests, trials...
