Just today, Google has introduced the Google Talk Gadget.

Its a web-based module that users can add to their Google Personalized Homepage.

The upside of this, near as I can tell, is that you can place Google Talk directly on your Google Personalized Home Page. From there, you can see and chat with your friends, and even share, say, YouTube videos.

Now let us look at a couple of grabs from Google's own demo of this Google Talk Gadget demo.

Well, Karine and corgicrazy have been added to this Google Talk user's conversation. Caller'sasking both of these folks if they like puppet shows.

Since this grab is off a Google Talk Gadget demo posted on Google, the bottom sentence is cut off. Gist of it is that corgicrazy really can't get enough of pooches on parade.

So now let me show you how Google Talk Gadget looks on a Google user's personalized home page:

Sorry for blur: took grab from the demo. Still, from here, the caller can type in, say, a YouTube URL for a puppet show clip (better not be one of Viacom's tho').

Now that's what I call integration.
