I may be itching for a Mac version of Google's Chrome browser - but not enough to download a developer's version that's subject to "incomplete, unpredictable, and potentially crashing software."

In a post on Google's Chromium blog, the company cautioned against downloading the early developer channel versions (one for Mac OS X, one for Linux) unless you're a developer who can tolerate incomplete software. From the blog:

How incomplete? So incomplete that, among other things , you won't yet be able to view YouTube videos, change your privacy settings, set your default search provider, or even print.

I'm clearly not the kind of person they're looking for - so there will be no downloading of this browser for me. But by all means, if you're a hacker and can handle this challenge, please step up. The sooner they get Chrome for the Mac tested and stabilized, the sooner they can release a beta version for me.
